Hi my names Kevin I'm looking for some help to get private transportation from rehab in queens ny back to upstate ny were I live and were all my family is. Let me give you a quick back story the summer 2021 your 29 year old working full time camping fishing riding my motorcycle pretty much anything on the weekends so a day after work got home got off my motorcycle and burnt my leg on the pipe didn't think much off started taking care of it thought it got better few weeks later my legs were so swollen it was hard to walk went to the er and found out the my burn turned into a open wound I feel at a buddy's house and landed on my back really hard no pain no nothing I start going to wound care for my leg in November 2021 but I started to notice my mobility getting worse along comes January of 2022 and I no longer can work so I had to quit my job I ended up fully not walking the middle of February so I went to the st e in utica ny the admitted me March 30th 2022 I was on my way to Brookhaven rehabilitation and health care center in queens ny 5 hours from with no family around the put me in pt for the bare minimal cause there not sure what to do for me had a mri of my lower back and they just seen a pinched nerve which isn't causing this with my legs Brookhaven has done nothing for me year and half later January 2024 me and my family decided it was time for me to come so I did everything I was supposed to do got a hospital bed which took over a month cause rehab didn't want to do there job right got my cpap machine finally was discharge signed all the paper work rehab start work with mas to get me transportation home one company wouldn't do it the next company came to rehab checked me up the strecher was to small so instead of finding a bigger strecher the manager Darlene at mas lied a said the strecher was to wide to go threw front door then Said it wasn't save to transport me home pretty much told me stay in rehab a lose more weight which isn't way I'm even in rehab in the first place and she won't approve my transport cause she works for medicad I just want to go back home to be with my family and to go see some doctors that are actually gonna do something instead of milking me for my health insurance everyone so please if you can help and donate so I can private transportation which is the only way back to my family and friends and to get back to my life I would really appreciate it thank you so much
