My mom needs your help. It has been a very challenging past year of deaths (both of her parents) and divorce all in the same few months. She would kill me if she knew I was doing this, but I think it is necessary to her health, safety, and overall well being. I unfortunately cannot help her financially, but I can support in other ways. That is where you come in. Even just a little would make a huge difference in her life. She is living in her parent's home (along with myself temporarily as I just lost my job), and if you know this old house-it takes a lot of energy and time to maintain/fix up especially as we are trying to get it on the market in the next month! She has been having more bad days than good, and it is really tough to see. I am hoping to raise a couple to a few thousand if possible to help lessen the stress and impact of the following:
-Real estate tax bill
-House exterior repairs (deck and roof mainly)
-Other annoying bills, groceries, etc.
The house has taken so much work that she is concerned about the timing of starting her teaching job again in a few weeks as we are getting it on the market. The overlap is tough, and I am here helping with as much as I can, but the reality is this has forced me to put my own life on hold a bit. We just need some help, so I am making the ask.
