Hi friends, my name is Peyton Cole, my sister Jasmine, brother Cain and I are starting this fundraiser to support our youngest brother, Ryder, 22, who was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Testicular Cancer.
Ryder was entering his senior year of college, at Montana State University in Bozeman, when he was diagnosed with Stage 2 Testicular Cancer. He had surgery to remove a mass on July 30th, 2026. Surgery was successful, but results found this mass to be cancerous. A CT Scan further revealed the cancer had spread. Ryder begins chemo on Monday, September 14th, 2026. He will have to undergo three cycles of BEP chemotherapy (consisting of 21 days each).
There’s a possibility Ryder will need to get further surgery and / or more chemotherapy after these three cycles are completed. If surgery is required, he will have to travel out of state to New York or Indiana to see a specialist.
Unfortunately, Ryder is unable to work or take a full semester of college while he is undergoing treatment. He will be taking some classes to still stay enrolled, but will have to take an additional semester next year. The money we raise will go towards his rent, groceries, medical bills, & other living expenses. If his treatment requires travel for surgery, additional chemotherapy, or other care not covered by insurance, these funds will also help with those unexpected out-of-pocket expenses.
Ryder is majoring in Electric Engineering at Montana State University (MSU) in Bozeman, Montana. He spent the Summer of 2026 in a NASA funded Internship. He spent the summer working on weather balloons in preparation to go to Spain for the Total Solar Eclipse.
This would have been Ryder’s last year in college. We are hoping he only has to take one additional semester to graduate. I am so proud of my younger brother for all of his hard work and dedication. We are heartbroken as a family that Ryder, only 22 years old, is facing this major health obstacle. We are doing everything we can to support him and help him focus on getting healthy and back to the life he has worked so hard to build.
