On June 22nd, my aunt passed away after quite a hard health battle. It was pretty unexpected and definitely not how she wanted to go. Unfortunately, she didn’t have a will or any end of life plan in place. That’s where I come in… I am next of kin. Her sister (my mom), and her parents both passed away several years ago. Thankfully I have an idea of what I’m doing as I did all this with my mom and grandmother when they passed. The part that makes it difficult is that with this being so unexpected, I wasn’t financially ready to take it on so that part has taken its toll. I’m also missing out on time with my 3 kids because the process is taking longer and more time due to the financial strain. All donations will be going towards getting a plot for her urn next to her parents, costs of keeping her things taken care of until I can get a death certificate as well as fuel costs for myself as I am driving over an hour one way every few days to handle things.
