I am starting this gofundme page to support a sweet, kind and caring student of mine. She is a light, encourager, friend, daughter and sister.
Ever since I started my job as a school social worker, she has made me feel so welcomed! While she was in school, she stopped by my office often to give me hugs, to chat and say hello or just to update me on all of the 9th grade drama. :)
She has been battling cancer for 3 years and unfortunately it is now stage 4 and she is in hospice. As you can imagine, this is not easy for anyone to go through or process.. especially as a 16 year old.
To thank her teachers for being there for her, she had beautiful flowers and hand written cards delivered to the school. Again.. she is ALWAYS thinking of others.
This family lost their mom a few years ago and could really use the financial support since the dad has taken time off of work to spend time with her. Please consider donating and lifting their family up in prayer.
