Hello everyone,
I am reaching out today to ask for your support in helping me get back on the road. Recently, my life was turned upside down when I was involved in a horrible rollover accident on the Kansas Turnpike. Another vehicle had a mattress fly off their trailer or truck bed directly into the highway. With nowhere to go, my car struck it and was completely totaled.
Because I only had liability insurance, my insurance company will not cover the loss of my vehicle. To make things harder, despite the accident happening on the turnpike, authorities have still not been able to identify who the mattress belonged to, leaving me with no way to hold the responsible party accountable.
Losing my transportation has been an incredibly difficult hurdle, especially right now. I am a single mother raising three beautiful children entirely on my own. More importantly, I am incredibly proud to say that I have just over a year of hard-earned sobriety from methamphetamine, alcohol, marijuana, and fentanyl. Every day, I choose a healthy, stable life for myself and my kids.
I am determined, proactive, and actively looking for steady employment to support my family. However, trying to secure a job, get my kids where they need to go, and manage daily life without a vehicle is a massive uphill battle.
I want to keep moving forward and providing the best life possible for my children. Any funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward purchasing a safe, reliable used vehicle so I can secure employment and take care of my family.
