Dear Friends and Family,
It is with a heavy but hopeful heart that we write to ask for your support in helping our best friend through her journey as she begins her fight against Cervical Cancer. While there are so many unknowns and our hearts rest a little bit heavier… one thing we know for certain is that the love and unconditional support of our dearest friends and family can help anyone overcome even the toughest of obstacles. Amidst uncertainties, your unwavering love can be a guiding light. Melissa, a woman with a heart of gold, battles not just for herself but for her loving family; her husband and three beautiful daughters. Your thoughts, prayers, and, if possible, a contribution will help Mel focus more on getting well and less on the other stressors that come with fighting this terrible illness. Melissa will be traveling to Houston, for Chemo and Radiation and will spending the next 7-8 weeks undergoing treatment. Let's rally around her, offering solace and strength. Above all, I ask that you please pray for her, because our Lord is the greatest of healers & I know he will see her through this. Lastly, a gentle reminder for all the wonderful women in your life: screenings are the best form of prevention ❤️🙏🏼
