Hello friends and family!!!
I am writing on behalf of Phoenix since he is not very active on Facebook. He has been given the opportunity to go to Belize in March on a mission trip with his school. They will be helping with building/constructing a place where missionaries will be able to be trained to spread the word of God to as many people as possible. Phoenix and his classmates will also be helping with vacation Bible school while they are there.
I remember my own mission trip at the same school years ago and the huge impact it made on me. To see the real struggle of humble people who just want to help others. The ability to join together and share our hearts and offer support was an incredible experience. It was a so humbling to help build simple cabins, and to receive so many smiles and love-filled hugs in appreciation.
I would love for Phoenix to have the same meaningful experience of helping others who are less fortunate and to understand how blessed we truly are.
