My name is Karlah, and I am a mother to three wonderful kids. In March 2025, I was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer. Initially, I tried a holistic approach to my treatment, but it wasn't successful, and now I'm beginning intense chemotherapy on June 15th. Creating this fundraiser is part of my effort to manage the financial burden that these medical treatments will bring.
Recently, life threw another challenge my way. While dealing with a tire blowout on the side of the road, my car was hit from behind and totaled. Now, with no reliable vehicle, getting to treatments becomes even more daunting. Despite everything, I am determined to keep working if I can, but balancing treatments and my job will be incredibly tough.
Living here in Paradis, Louisiana, I have always felt the warmth and support of our community. Your generosity and prayers mean the world to me and my family during this difficult time.
