I am an Iraq War Veteran. Disabled. As I am lucky to be here I am trying to fulfill my bucket list item and give back to all that I can. So, I chose to follow my desire and play Santa and visit service members and their families in hospitals, at home or wherever they are to make their holiday better. I also want and will visit kids in hospitals, treatment centers and at home to make their Christmas a stellar event!!
I am on an incredibly tight disability from the VA and I have found that I desperately need assistance in the area of finances to help make these trips happen. I live in Florida and plans on driving to wherever the need arises. I tried last year and could o lay make a small number of visits, gas is very expensive and I bought an ok costume but I need help buying more to look real instead of a $35 corner Santa. I also want to attend Santa College in Michigan to get the certification that will help me present as a more professional Santa and hold my desire and perception in higher regard.
I know times are hard. I want to thank you for at least reading this!! Send me thoughts and prayers as well!! I hope to hit my goal, I hope to give back for many years to come and I am always going to keep Santa’s motto alive.
