I have 2 children that have a rare metabolic genetic disease called Cobalamin C Deficiency. This also has caused them several other deadly diseases and NONE of their diseases are curable. They are progressive and it’s awful to watch your kids fight for their lives on a daily basis, knowing there is NOTHING I can do as their mom to help them, their younger brother died from their disease so I have seen how this ends. Their insurance no longer will pay for their shots that they take daily. It’s a daily shot but they get two a day since both of my kids are on it. Well it’s $800 and this month we had to take from our rent due to my car breaking down and I was out of work for 3 weeks (I uber to pay my bills as I’m on disability and uber simply for the extra my disability doesn’t cover) well my son almost died in January from missing 2 days of his shots. He was in the ICU and it was very touch and go, so it was a no brainer I had to buy their shots but now I need help paying my rent.
If you could help I would be so appreciative, im fighting for their disability now. This is so hard but I won’t stop, they will live as long as God calls them to & I won’t stop fighting for them.
I’m making money again however I cannot make what’s needed In a week before they threaten eviction.
It’s exhausting , but God made me their mom because he knew I wouldn’t stop.
