Dear kind souls and compassionate hearts,
My name is Nagham, a young woman from Gaza, surviving through an unfathomable nightmare alongside my husband, Diaa. We are currently living in a fragile tent, facing harsh days that test our strength beyond limit.
Every month, we struggle immensely just to pay the rent for the small piece of land where our tent stands. My husband spends his days from dawn till dusk under the blazing, merciless sun, walking through streets and markets in search of any daily work to keep us alive.
To make matters even harder, I am currently suffering from severe bodily infections. My doctor prescribed essential, ongoing medications that I must take continuously, but due to scarcity and high costs, securing my treatment has become a daily heartbreak. On top of this, the shadow of the approaching winter fills us with terror—we do not know what hidden cruelties the coming freezing weather and rain hold for us in this simple tent.
I come to you today with a heart full of sorrow and modesty, asking for your hand in these dark times. I am not asking for luxury—only for my necessary medicine, basic food, clean water, and shelter for my family.
Please do not look away. Your donation, or even sharing my story, is a lifeline for us before winter arrives.
With all my tears and remaining hope,
Nagham from Gaza 📍🇵🇸
