Hi everyone! My name is Clover and I am a 9 week old pittie mix rescue puppy from Georgia.
I was born in 6/5/26 prematurely and that proved to be too much for my birth mama; rejected me and my litter mates. Thankfully, we were all in a rescue and the rescue humans stepped in. They bottle fed me and my siblings, but sadly, my siblings didn't make it after a couple days.
I kept fighting to survive and with bottle feeding every few hours by my foster mama in Georgia, and some help moving my premature little body, I got up and started walking around and kept going for the bottle. A couple months later, here I am in Minneapolis in my forever home!
I have so much to get used to in the world and learn. My first time leaving my foster home (except for a quick vet visit), was when I rode in a cargo van with lots of other dogs in kennels all the way from Atlanta overnight! It was a lot, but I made it and was so excited to get pick up by my forever human companions!
Since arriving, I've been sleeping, playing, going for puppy walks, snuggling and exploring everything with my sharp little puppy teeth. I didn't have dog mama or puppy litter mates to help me learn how to puppy, so everything is new!
I had my first day of school today and I got to meet other puppies for the first time! It was so cool π Now I'm napping, because learning is exhausting.
As a puppy from a special situation, I need lots of socialization and training. Lots. I also need to make sure I'm developing healthy with regular vet visits.
My human companion has made the commitment to socializing and training me regularly and I am so excited to explore and learn about the world together π I hope to one day be a therapy dog and be able to anywhere and bring calm tender joy to people everywhere. I am so smart and sweet and have so much potential πΎ
Training, puppy supplies, and vet care are expensive! Will you help support my journey?
Why the goal of $6,526? That's my birthdate! This will help support me thrive by helping cover my adoption fee, training costs, insurance for my vet visits, along with some supplies.
Thanks for caring about me and my learning and thriving!
With gratitude and puppy snuggles, Clover
