Hello. My name is Caitlyn Cassidy.
Music has been my passion forever. Since the 3rd grade, I’ve been singing, playing instruments, and dancing. Recently, I was given an incredible opportunity.
I was recommended by my choir director, Mr. Jason Straub, to join the American Music Abroad Vocal Tour in Europe. It’s a three week trip where I would get to experience many different things, as well as participate in 6 choir performances through Europe. We would travel through Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and France, to name a few stops. In these different places, we would visit landmarks such as a WWII concentration camp, the hills where The Sound of Music was filmed, and even Mozart’s home. This is something that would not only be an amazing experience, but something that would also help me in my future as a musician.
The total cost of the tour is $6000. I am reaching out to friends and family for financial aid to be able to experience this amazing once in a lifetime chance to do something awesome.
