"My name is Hazem and I am a 20 year old from Deir Al-Balah. I am the provider for my family--My mother who is 50 and my father who is 62, and my two sisters ages 15 and 17. No one in my family has an income, and I am not able to feed my family. We all currently eat one meal a day and get our food from food distributions, which have become fewer and fewer as no food has been allowed into Gaza in over 2 months.
We are fortunate that our house is still standing, but we lack the basic necessities of life--we have no electricity, fresh water, or plumbing, and have to walk more than an hour to gather fresh water.
When I was 2 I lost my eye to an aggressive form of cancer, and each year I am tested to ensure that the cancer hasn't returned. Since the beginning of the genocide, I have not been able to get testing. I also require a new prosthetic eye and special treatment from specialists that is needed outside of Gaza, but I also am unable to receive either of these.
Each week I require special eye drops for my eyes due to my artificial eye, which costs $50 from the pharmacy.

Prices in Gaza are the highest they have ever been after over 2 months of the occupation's complete blockade of any aid let into Gaza.
I've been helping support both projects and individuals in Gaza and deeply believe in the need to support both group projects and individual campaigns like Hazem's. Individual donations to families allow for autonomy and the ability to buy medications that are very scarce like the one that Hazem currently needs each week.

I will send Hazem money as soon as enough comes in through Cryptocurrency, which I have used successfully for months to send money to families in Gaza.
Spotfund takes a flat fee of 2.9% + $0.30 transaction fee, and each Cryptocurrency transfer takes another 2%. Once the money reaches Gaza, merchants who have BTC exchange shops take anywhere from 20% to 50%. Please consider this when donating and donate more if you are able to.
