Funding Support Inc helps women and minority entrepreneurs within the technology space compete in the marketplace. We are rasing funds to donate to those who apply for our grant. Our goal is to help level the playing field for entrepreneurs who face obstacles in the business world.
Even as the marketplace for tech continues to grow, spaces for Black women and minorities within tech are still establishing their foothold in the industry. In order to support support rising Black women and minority entrepreneurs within the technology space! 25% of the proceeds will be used to found a grant to support Black women and minority tech start-ups! According to an article by AnitaB.org Women account for 26.7% of the tech workforce, and, Black women specifically, make up only 1.7%. Similarly, Black professionals as a whole only account for 7.4% of the tech workforce
