10 days ago, I was carrying a heavy container of cat litter up my stairs in the rain. There were leaves on the steps, and I slipped and fell 9 steps. I was in so much pain, I thought I might have broken a rib, so I went to the hospital. While there, they drew blood. My platelets were only 35, when they should be 100. I spent four days there, and in the end, I was told I have cirrhosis. I'm only asking for help because I don't want my family to suffer. Medical bills are through the roof, even with my gold insurance. My wife is currently the only one working, though I've been relentlessly searching for work, and we aren't going to last much longer, and will be forced out of our home. I'll be there first to admit that the cirrhosis is my own doing from years of abusing alcohol, and I'm sober now, and will continue to stay that way, but it's taken it's toll on my family. Anything helps.. I apologize because I never thought I'd have to use a fund raising campaign for help. God bless everyone, and I hope you all have a great holiday.
