On our way home on 11/25 my car broke down from a completely unknown cause. After having it towed and diagnosed the total repairs amount to thousands of dollars. For a car as old as mine and with so many miles it'd be pointless to put that money into repairing it instead of a new car. So now I'm left just before the holiday without a car to use for work, and to pick up my daughter from school 5 days a week. I feel as though the odds are stacked against me and I'm unsure how I'll be there for my family! I don't have any major savings for these circumstances so all contributions will be going directly towards a down payment for a new car to get me back to work, and I'd like to thank you for everything you all have done so far.
