Help Annie Overcome Potomac Fever 💜🦄

Many of you know and love or have loved my horse and the love of my life, Annie. Annie is on the tail-end of receiving life-saving treatment for Potomac horse fever, which she began showing symptoms for on July 30th and I started treatment immediately on July 31st. For all who are not horse people, this disease can be fatal, and with Annie’s age (25) and underlying conditions, she was even more at risk. On Monday, August 3rd, after another vet call, the vet deemed her health to be in danger and so she was transported to New Bolton center, a renowned large animal hospital in Kennett Square, PA. On top of the emergency vet visit and medical costs prior to her hospital stay, there is a $2,000 deposit due right away upon admittance. She is slated to be at the hospital 9-11 total (she has already been there 7), with each daily treatment ranging from $200-$300. This financial burden was something I was not prepared for and do not have money set aside for. One of my main joys in life had been sharing Annie and her light with anyone who needs it— if you know her, you know that she is magic and positively impacts anyone who she meets 🦄. So, I’m asking that if you know Annie, have been blessed to know her, or have seen me post her so many times that you feel like you know her— if you feel led to contribute any amount to help ease this financial burden, I would be eternally grateful for your help.
