Hello!
I am Ara Davis and I am beyond lucky to start my first taste of being an adult with overwhelmingly exceptional opportunities to travel because and for my art! I’ve been accepted into two incredible programs, the first one being a 2 month long opportunity to go study with Sotheby’s in London, the London program will be to gain a deeper understanding and love for different aspects of art as-well as getting to love it through International perspectives and eyes, which is the most beautiful and vastly opening, expansive opportunity I think I could ever dream of. The second opportunity is through Chateau Orquevaux, an artist residency in the south countryside of France! With Chateau Orquevaux I will be focusing more on feeling how it feels to be an independent self sufficient artist. It is the perfect opportunity to sit and deeply focus on my art for an extended period of time, with space and support and beauty surrounding me. Both of these opportunities are my dream entryway into the art world, and I feel will be the best opportunities in could ever receive to grow so full heartedly in the direction I need. But I cannot do it without your support! Although I got significant scholarships from both opportunities, I still am in great need of your help! With you donating to me you are helping me grow vastly as an artist and making my artistic growth so much more possible! I appreciate you all very very much, and will take this opportunity you are helping me with in a way that will impact my livelihood and artistic self for the rest of my life. With donating 25$ I will write you a personal note, with a small drawing, upwards of 50$ I will give you a tote bag with one of my paintings on it, upwards of 100 I will paint you a small original painting, for 1000 or more I will do a full sized original canvas with my choice, or whatever you’d like, up to you!
