****update***
Four weeks ago today I experienced one of the the hardest days of my life. On 12/18/25 I went in for one of my appointments and found out that baby B had died and Baby A had a heart rate of 108. On 12/22/25 I went in for my anatomy scan. An appointment that was supposed to be two hours with twins that lasted all of 15 min because baby A had passed away as well. I was devastated but determined. I was told that if I had surgery I wouldn’t be able to see or hold my sweet babies. I chose to be induced so that I could meet my twins for the first and last time.
My 15 year old daughter was not living with me because I am still technically unhoused, (staying with a relative). She was staying with a friend of the family and got kicked out to no fault of her own on the day I found out about my twins. I had to go pick her up and make sure she had all of her things while dealing with a fever. I had no real clue how long baby A had been dead but it was probably over the weekend. I was potentially on my way to getting sepsis.
I finally got to the hospital after driving back and forth several times to get my daughter to her dad’s house and getting her things.
Although we weren’t together, the twins father had been so excited about having the babies that I thought he would at least come to see them off. I told him what hospital I was delivering and he told me “thanks.” I didn’t give my babies his last name. My babies have my pen name, Resonance, which I intend to change my name to. My government surname is my ex husband’s last name and that just wouldn’t do either.
I delivered my angel babies at 2:25pm on 12/23/25. They had stopped growing and were measuring at 14-16 weeks and I would have been 19 weeks that day. They came out in each other’s arms. I named them Tramarr Hunter and Koletrane Langston. They were my perfect little boys and I miss them every second of every day. I just got their cremated remains back last week. The autopsy didn’t give me any closure on why I lost my boys. I should still be pregnant. I wish I was still pregnant.
I started working at the bookstore on 1/11/26 and I’ll have more hours than before but probably not going to hit 40 hrs a week. I’m doing what I love though, and I have built in time to work on my own projects for my writing business and my bookshop.
Please keep myself and my daughter in your thoughts as we both continue the healing and grieving process. My goal is to have us back together and housed by the beginning of summer. We so appreciate all of your kindness and care for us through this nightmare that we’ve endured.

Hi everyone! First of all, thank you from the bottom of my heart for the compassion you’ve shown to myself and all three of my babies!!! Every word of encouragement, every dollar, and every prayer has been deeply felt. I would never have done this for myself and I am so unimaginably grateful for Tiffany for doing this for us. I have been able to get my oil changed for the first time since purchasing my car in August!
My teen daughter and I have been through a lot over the past few years. She is truly my reason. I adore her. She is quite literally the strongest person I know.
Cass was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, a chronic illness in which her body attacked its own beta cells, causing her pancreas not to function. She is insulin dependent. Without insulin she would die in 72 hours or less. She is extraordinary. I could go on forever about her quick wit, artistic abilities, her cat rescuing, and her wisdom.
It guts me every time I wake up and I have to text her instead of yelling in the next room and asking what she wants for breakfast. She is staying with family friends to avoid being in the shelter with me.
A common manifestation of chronic illness is mental health issues. She has been bullied by students and teachers alike over the years who have a tainted perspective of diabetes and its causes.
Recently I learned that a gym teacher at a school told her she couldn’t be in gym anymore because “diabetics can’t exercise.” Students have asked “are you diabetic because you’re fat” and have threatened her life by saying they were going to rip her medical devices off of her body.
Every night before I check into the shelter, I go to where she is staying to give her meds for her mental health. The little white bundle of fluff pictured is her dog Blanche Devreaux. Fortunately, the family she is staying with has allowed Blanche to stay with her. This is who you are helping!♥️
