We’re Joe and Shelley, the proud local owners of Hugo Coffee in beautiful Park City, Utah—your neighborhood coffee shop with a mission started by it's roaster more than 10 years ago. If you’ve ever stopped by for a handcrafted latte, a local pastry, or a warm smile, chances are you’ve felt the heart of what we do: great coffee, strong community, and deep love for animals.
💛 Our Mission: Coffee with a Cause
At Hugo Coffee, we do more than serve drinks—we support animal rescue efforts with every cup. It's our way of giving back to the furry friends who need it most. Hugo Coffee Roasters has donated thousands of dollars over the years to help animals find loving homes, and now, we need your help to grow that impact even more.
🐶 Why We’re Raising Funds
We’re expanding our efforts— and expanding our locations and that means more opportunities to rescue, support, and rehome animals. Through this GoFundMe, we're not just growing our small business—we're making an additional donation to our neighbors at Nuzzles & Co., a fantastic nonprofit doing incredible rescue work right here in Park City. As a celebration on the final day of reaching our goal, we will donate an ENTIRE days worth of sales to Nuzzles!

📍 Our Journey (So Far!)
Hugo Coffee began with a dream and a big heart. Joe, a Park City Native, spent 10 years as host of the PCTV Mountain Morning Show, and Shelley moved from North Carolina in 2002 to pursue figure skating and work at Primary Children’s Hospital. Although health issues prevent us from adopting or fostering, we found our way to give back: through coffee.
We aquired Hugo at the Park City Visitor Center—a perfect spot to welcome guests, connect with locals, and share our mission. Just this year, we celebrated our 2-year anniversary there—though the business itself has been part of Park City for over 14 years!
