Six years ago, during the thick of the COVID lockdowns, everything changed for us. Our world suddenly felt very uncertain. Having to leave everything behind us, loosing our home back in Illinois and moving to Florida was a monodrome. It was a very challenging time, but we held tight to each other, finding comfort in little things and acts of love that kept us going and most importantly our faith to God.
Now, as we work to rebuild, we've made some strides, thanks to sheer determination and lots of hard work… there's still a way to go. I'm reaching out with hope and a little humility because the road ahead is still quite challenging.
Your support means more than just getting back on our feet. It's about feeling connected to the love and generosity that our community has always shown… with hope of getting a glimpse of those brighter, more stable days we've been dreaming of.
