It may surprise you to learn, victims often struggle to find help, resources and can be further harmed by the legal system when seeking justice.  There are a lot of assumptions made about how the justice system works especially if you’ve never  had to use it before.  However, once you've experienced it first hand, a lot of things you may think are in place, may not be. We want to help close the gaps in our legal and justice systems that all too often leave victims out of the justice system equation.  We created CARE for Victims, a national organization to provide victims what they need: Compassion, Accountability and Rights Enforcement.

CARE for Victims works to provide information victims are seeking so it is easy to understand, available when they need it, and takes the guess work out of where to go to find an attorney or legal assistance for their particular situation. These resources will be available to all victims of crime regardless of their ability to pay or socio/economic backgrounds.

The proceeds from this fundraiser will help sustain us through the next year and provide for operational costs, wages and salaries, administration costs, building out a robust website that provides  resources to victims at the local, state and national levels. Continued funding allows us to assess local law enforcement, justice systems and local government to pinpoint issues and work with local agencies to ensure solutions are implemented, reported on and governed.

We will forge policy and legislative changes that provide enforceable victim's rights laws with penalties and consequences for rights violations that don't exist today. In addition, we will look to create an accessible, nation-wide network of victim's rights attorneys, content and resources to help victims enforce their rights and provide accountability at all levels of the legal system and government.

Based on national statistics almost every person will be a victim of a crime in their lifetime or will know someone who is and will need to call on the justice system for help.  Your donations will help us improve the overall justice experience for victims of crime. Please consider donating to CARE for Victims $5, $10 or any amount you can will help.  In addition, please like and share our cause with your friends and family on social media to help get the word out.  Thank you so much!
