After more than a year of trying to grow their family, Robin and Walker Hanson were overjoyed to learn that they would soon be parents again. However, 3 days before they were scheduled for their first OB appointment, Robin found a lump in her right breast. Within a few days of her first OB appointment, Robin received a diagnosis of right breast invasive ductal carcinoma with lymph node invasion. After more imaging, which is limited due to her pregnancy, there is high suspicion of metastasis (spread) to her bones. In the height of joy and gratitude over this pregnancy, Robin and Walker, along with their twin 3 year old boys Grant and Palmer, are facing a very different reality than they ever could have imagined. Chemotherapy has already begun and they are at the beginning of a long road of treatment. We would love to bless the Hanson family monetarily to help ease their burden. These funds will be used to help cover any unexpected time off work, out of pocket medical expenses, transportation to and from appointments, groceries, housekeeping, and any other things Robin and her family may want or need throughout pregnancy and cancer treatment.
As they trust the Lord in this journey, we would love for you to partner with us as we pray for Robin, Walker, the twins Grant and Palmer, and the precious long awaited baby that Robin is carrying. If you would like to follow along on their journey, the link below will guide you to her personal cancer journal.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11
