This is my son with his children in happier days before he had a massive stroke in 2022 that left him totally disabled.
After four years, he recently moved back home although he cannot live independently.
He faces life long struggles with ongoing medical, physical, and neurological care.
During the years after he became disabled, many big trees in his yard died.
All those trees urgently need to be cut down and removed. Some of the dead trees are hanging over the roof and some big branches have already fallen on the roof. One large tree recently fell on the fence and knocked it down. The yard and their home is simply not safe for the family anymore.
We have estimates from $5000 to $9000.
The fence estimate is over $1000.
Heath's only income is Social Security Disability so there is no way he can pay for the work that must be done.
Family members have been able to help with some living expenses but that is all we can do.
I live with him. I do everything I can for him but I cannot lift heavy things like tree branches.
Fifteen years before his stroke, Heath had established his own successful real estate appraisal company.
He spent his evenings coaching youth baseball which included his brothers and his son.
100% of your donations will go to pay for the tree removal and the fence repair.
I hope you understand his situation and donate anything you can to help.
There might be some professionals that could volunteer some time and services to help him with this.
He needs to make the yard and their home safe again for his family.
Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers and be assured that any donation will help him.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
His proud and loving Mom,
Jo
