Empower Independence With A Wheelchair Van

I was born with cerebral palsy and am wheelchair bound. I can’t get around without it. The only time I leave my house is to go to appointments. Even that can be daunting. I have to call a ride company and schedule it way in advance. Then if there are others scheduled for the same day i end up sitting for two to three hours at the doctor’s office or hospital waiting for the ride home. My care givers do go for walks with me outside. I believe i have memorized every bump and crack of the 200 feet of sidewalk outside of my apartment. I would like to go to the park, the mall, the supermarket. Without a vehicle of my own for my care givers to take me in those things are still wishes. One of them suggested this and I agreed.
