I need some help right now I am backed in the corner! I started renting the home I'm in now on June first put 3700 for rent and deposit. I feel like this landlord took advantage of me because he new I was desperate to get in a place staying in a hotel with for kids is not ideal while in-between houses. So repairs that's needs done we made an agreement on that they would be fixed before we moved in so we waited a week later to move in so they could do those repairs that was the time frame they had set week passes repairs till not done well I could afford to keep staying in a hotel when I just have him all this money so he let us move in amd said the repaira would be completed within twk day its now September and the repairs have yet to be completed and there major repairs a bedroom being converted from a kitchen back to a bedroom, main sewer pipe has a crack in the entire thing outlets dont work and those things you would catch when you initially look at a house walking through plugging something into every outlet to make sure that they work or flushing the toilets and doing all of that so during the walkthrough everything looked good also the bathroom the bathtub doesn't even have running water I didn't think to run the water in the bathtub but after I moved in and was trying to run the water I was like what the heck did some looking around and found that the copper piping had been cut out of the house and its been a battle with him to try and get him to fix these issues and finish the repairs. So now this week I get a visit and find out that he is renting to me illegally he did not register the home as a rental which is requirement in Iowa and has never had the house inspected big no no on his part, they came and did the inspection house failed the inspection miserable and they condemned it not safe  or livable giving me three days to vacate with no alternate for my kids and I. So I really could use as much help as i can possibly get so I can get a storage to put our stuff in and secure a hotel room for us again while I try and find another places as quickly as possible that's is why I am asking help with $3000 to get a storage for our belongings get a hotel room and to help towards rent and deposit towards another place...Thank you in advance to anyone that is able to help me in my time of need, it's embarrassing to ask for help and no one wants to do it but when you backs against the wall and it's your children's food shelter and safety you mustard up the courage to reach out and do what's uncomfortable.
