Jonny Goood is a Pittsburgh native Bassist sporting his own type of genre that he likes to call Bass Hop, also the name of his first album, which is a mesh of Rock and Hip Hop. Goood is a former police officer that swapped out the badge to take up the bass with artists like Wiz Kahlifa, The Weekend, and most recently smashing the Super Bowl and Grammy's with Lady Gaga.
Goood is coming back to Pittsburgh with the goal of making a name for himself while also wanting to give back to the community that raised him. Having grown up in Wilkinsburg, Goood has chosen to support the Best of the Batch Foundation in Homestead, not far from where he grew up. The Best of the Batch Foundation is a nonprofit organization devoted to improving the lives of children and families in distressed communities by building character, self-esteem, and appreciation for education. Currently serving southwestern Pennsylvania, Best of the Batch Foundation does good works, such as scholarships to college-bound students and a yearly back-to-school BatchPack book bag distribution to kids and teachers, computer literacy classes, and their yearly gift drive for holidays.
All donations will go to the Best of The Batch Foundation.
We are excited that Jonny has chosen a charity that we have also worked with in the past!
