Hi, my name is Sandra Hutchinson DiLeo and I’m fundraising for my mom, Sandra Benavides.
Over that past few years, her health has been steadily declining due to complications from diabetes.
She’s faced one challenge after another and another- From partial vision loss and kidney failure gangrene which lead to amputation of her toe then amputation of her leg above the knee. She now undergoes dialysis 2x a week.
Despite everything, my mom has remained strong. She spent her whole life giving everything to her family. She now needs our help from everyone around her and now it’s our turn to give just a little back.
My family and I are doing everything we can to give her the best care possible but we need help to continue the fight.
We are raising funds for her rehabilitation, a prosthetic leg, ongoing dialysis treatments, and eye surgery. All are essential in helping her regain some independence and quality of life.
