I am here because I will not give up trying! Everything is in God's hands. My name is Shakela Johnson. My family of 7 is in crisis and we need your help!
In my local area, I have not been able to secure any emergency assistance or support. Most services are exhausted or at capacity due to the growing lack of affordable housing among other issues. I do not have the privilege of a support system or large family to have my back. I have 5 kids between 1 and 15 years of age, with 3 of them having special health needs ranging from ASD to Cancer. I am fiercely independent and private from having been a foster youth and a single parent. Despite the many challenges, I graduated college with high honors and sought a career that would enrich my family. Unfortunately, like so many others, I am not employed in my field and I have a low wage job. I have never been able to utilize credit or loans because of ongoing identity fraud that's hindered my progress in life in so many ways including tax fraud. I report all incidents and have yet to see resolution. I do not receieve any child support or any income of that kind. I am resourceful and I do the very best I can to keep pushing forward day by day.
Prayer has led me here. To share my story with you, in Hopes that if you are in the position to help that you may. And if you can't then you can share my story with others or possibly help with new information or resources. In ANY way you can help, myself and my family are very grateful.
