We Got Next is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing basketball enthusiasts with access to professional coaching and training. Our mission is to mentor young athletes and guide them toward success, helping them move closer to achieving their goals both on and off the court.
Over the past several months, we have been actively involved in community outreach—recruiting at-risk youth and helping families enroll in our program. We are proud to say that we have already seen measurable success. However, our resources are limited, and without additional support, we will not be able to continue expanding these opportunities for the youth who need them most.
Participation in sports is a privilege that many families in our community simply cannot afford. In Bergen County alone, nearly 67,000 families are living below the poverty line. These are families who value sports and the opportunities they provide, but cannot afford the cost of what is often considered an “extra” program for their children.
The objective of We Got Next is to give kids the opportunity to pursue their passion for sports while developing camaraderie, self-esteem, discipline, and life skills that will benefit them far beyond the basketball court.
