Paulette Isabell is an esteemed lady who lives in Columbia, TN.  I will attempt to define her situation as I tell you a little about her.

Ms. Paulette is a very proud, hardworking individual and has put in her share of support and hard work for her community and the folks who live there.  She grew up poor and didn't have much but always got by.  As I mentioned she is a hard worker and held many different jobs throughout her life.  She is now of senior age and has several health issues that she is dealing with which make it very challenging for her to perform day to day tasks.  She currently has Lymphedema which is a condition that causes swelling and fluid build up in the arms and legs.  She also has an implanted pain pump to help with pain associated with back pain.  She has had four back surgeries initially containing hardware but the hardware has now been removed.  She was diagnosed as not being able to walk but she is very determined and walks with a limp and slumped over due to her issues.  Also, about three years ago she lost her husband, Tony, to a terrible disease that basically overtook his life.  Ms. Paulette and Tony had been married 58 years and raised two wonderful children.  Tony had been fighting cancer and for the most part had won that battle.  But then the disease Myasthenia Gravis developed, which attacks all the muscles in your body and weakened his immune system and eventually consumed him.  This was a devastating blow to the entire family and one which they have not yet completely healed.  One thing about cancer and other major diseases, if you are a regular individual and not wealthy, they tend to drain your finances over time and that is what has happened to Ms. Paulette.  She has also had to borrow money against a once paid for home that she lives in just to keep up with the bills that need to be paid.  She has maxed out the amount she can borrow on that home and struggles to repay the debt.

So that is the background behind this posting.  Ms. Paulette is on a fixed income and the strain or paying for medical expenses during her husband's illnesses and the continuous battles she deals with daily from her own ailments has made it virtually impossible for her to pay the amounts required to get out of debt any time soon.  Other family members are helping as they can but everyone has limited resources in this economy.  These are good, honest, hardworking and proud people who would normally not ask anyone for a hand out.  I am simply a good friend of the family who has seen the daily struggles she is going through and decided to try and help as much as possible with this post.  I know there are good folks out there who might be able to spare a dollar to help.  She needs your help and would greatly appreciate any donation you might be able to make to this situation.  This money would be used for all types of bills including food, utilities, doctor bills, house payments and other day to day expenses and hopefully get her back to a place where her fixed income can sustain her.  Please donate today.  Thank you and God Bless.
