My mother is from Puerto Rico, and much of my family is still there. They and many others are in desperate need of our help. Hurricane Maria completely devastated the island and the relief effort is only getting started. The entire commonwealth is without power and the government says it will be 6 months before power is restored. Less than 25% of the island has drinkable water. They are running low on gas, medical supplies, food, and basic supplies.
