Absolutely. That gives the fundraiser a much more personal and heartfelt purpose. I’d make it honest and emotional without making it sound exaggerated. I’m asking for help because right now, my mother and I are facing a situation that has become incredibly difficult for us to handle on our own. My mother has diabetes and recently went through a very serious health battle. She had to have her toe amputated, and because her arteries were severely clogged, she also had to undergo surgery to help restore blood flow. I’m doing everything I can to take care of her, be there for her, and make sure she has what she needs while she recovers. The hardest part is that we have no reliable transportation and no one else we can turn to for help. We have no way to consistently get to doctor appointments, pick up necessities, or simply get where we need to go. I’m trying to save enough money for a dependable car so that I can take care of my mother and make sure she can get to the medical care she needs. At the same time, the bills are continuing to pile up, and every day feels like another struggle trying to keep everything together.
I’m not someone who is comfortable asking for help, but I’ve reached a point where I know I can’t do this alone. Any donation, no matter how small, would make a tremendous difference in our lives and help relieve some of the weight we’re carrying. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much to us. I’m simply trying to take care of my mother and give us both a chance to get back on our feet. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read our story, and thank you for any kindness or support you can give. ❤️
