On Saturday, September 20, 2025, our beloved Jessica Marie Meek, age 30, was found unconscious in her home. Jessica had been battling headaches for the past couple of months and had visited the ER several times seeking answers. She was first taken to Lafayette Hospital in Indiana and then life-flighted to IU Hospital in Indianapolis.
When she arrived, doctors worked tirelessly to stabilize her. They discovered that Jessica was experiencing acute liver failure and acidosis, which ultimately caused her organs to shut down. Despite several treatment efforts, Jessica passed away on September 21, 2025, surrounded by the people she loved.
Jessica leaves behind her devoted husband Loyd and their four sweet children: Abigail (6), Emily (5), Russell (2), and Katlyn (7 months), along with many family members and friends who will miss her deeply. She will always be remembered for her loving heart, her bright spirit, and the way she cared so deeply for her family.
Because Jessica’s passing was sudden, the family is asking for support to help cover the cost of her funeral services. Any additional funds raised will go toward living expenses and the future needs of her children.
