Hi my name is Erin Smalley and I am a single mom and Navy Veteran with service connected disabilities. I suffer from PTSD (MST) . In December I won my disability claim and was awarded back pay. On December 6th I used my $5200 of back pay for my down payment and insurance on a  new car for myself and my daughter.  Then on December 16th I was hit from behind by a Jeep and my new car was considered a total loss. Unfortunately even with my full coverage insurance and gap insurance I am not getting any of my down payment back. Yes I am blessed that my insurance covered total cost of my loan . Unfortunately that is all that it covered.This was my only form of transportation to get my daughter to and from school and for myself to get to my VA appointments and PTSD counseling and treatment . I am saving for another down payment on a like new car. Any support is a blessing.
