I’m in between jobs because the last job I had was supposed to be a contract position cleaning three offices twice a week. I trusted that the monthly pay would cover my expenses, but unfortunately, I never received a paycheck. This left me without savings, as I had spent so much on gas traveling to locations that totaled a 5 hour round trip twice a week. My attempts to contact the company failed, leaving me without compensation and in an overwhelming position financially.
Now, my car is on the verge of being repossessed, and I’m behind on rent with only 30 days to resolve it. Overdrawing my account by $441 just to cover insurance has compounded my stress. I recently lost my daughter's father and my own father within a short span, leaving us without family support. I’m hopeful a new job is on the horizon once the background check clears, but I’m in urgent need of immediate assistance to keep us stable during this transition.
