Hello,
Faith and Community are what we are called to by God.
I have a friend who is struggling to get her own place. Leaving everything behind she moved to our state with nothing and no one. Being a victim in an abusive relationship has taken its toll on her- but God has kept her. We are coming together as her friends to start a cause to help raise money to get her own place. We want her to know that she doesn’t need to run back to a situation, a shelter that has almost killed her. Sometimes our breakthrough involves breaking a cycle and so your time in your wilderness depends on obedience.
Can you feel the burden of the community and help us raise this money to help our sister in Christ?
I truly believe that sometimes we become so close to the purpose of the calling that God has over our lives that we forget His principles lay in trusting Him. That’s where he moves best in complete and total faith. God doesn’t need help to move the hearts of His people. He is enough! But He does call us out of testimonies, to testify of His glory. Can we give her a testifying season?
“In the same way, “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” The real children of Abraham, then, are those who put their faith in God.”
Galatians 3:6-7
Allow us to be Nathan’s to her story. Like David we are called to community around believers to be a push back to righteousness and faith.
It may look different for everyone. Gods redirection, but it’s perfect. As long as you trust Him.
