Josh and Jordan Mannen have achieved their Eagle Rank from the Boy Scouts of America. Thanks to the amazing support from the community they enhanced the entrance of the Prescott Veterans Hospital facility. The projects consisted of two terraces and a flag pole on the left side of the entrance to the VA. Josh’s Eagle Project is the lower terrace which included installing riprap on the exposed hillside and installing a xeriscape garden with cactus and decorative boulders below the top terrace. Jordan’s Eagle Project is the top terrace which included installing a Versa-Loc retaining wall to stabilize the exposed flag pole mound, installing pavers around the flagpole and creating a DG walkway from the sidewalk to the flagpole.
UPDATE:
The Scouts have made a decision to except paver request through August 2024.
