Sid: A Debut Horror Novel
"Not many people can combine the whimsy of childhood with a blood-freezing duel between an imaginative little girl and a baby-eating monster. Fewer people still can take such a story and make it the most empathetic meditation on the terrors of childhood and parenthood I've read all year. Joey Pettine pulls all this off and more. Sid is The Shining for the Pixar generation. I am very jealous of it!"
-Seamus Sullivan, author of Daedalus Is Dead

Andi is six years old, and a monster has come to kill her new baby brother.

When the child-killing monstrosity, Sid, crawls out of a haunted jack-in-the-box and into her home, Andi must team up with her imaginary friend, Shmoogle; her ever-hungry bulldog, Lady Slobberly; and a mischievous blue stuffed monkey, Bobo, to stop the monster that her parents refuse to believe exists, despite the fear they feel creeping into their lives.

With her family's life on the line, Andi must use the tools of her childhood, while embracing the dark reality of this monstrous world, to end the monster and save her brother's life, even at the risk of her own.

Troop 13: A Bloodthirsty Follow Up

A girl scout troop on a camping trip must utilize everything they've ever learned about survival when they are hunted by the masked maniac known as The Axe Man.

Not knowing the dark history of the camp, the Lily Scouts of New York City journey to Camp Bell for a weekend of camping of fun. Their weekend is quickly interrupted by an invading boy scout troop and their aggressive scout leader. Things get even worse when the Axe Man, a killer who stalks the dark forests surrounding Camp Bell, once again dons his bloodstained mask and becomes hell bent on hunting the girls down. The girls fight to survive as the Axe Man hunts them through the forest, leaving a trail of blood and bodies in his wake.
