I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in July. And it’s been a struggle since my job let me go due to my sickness. I've never done anything like this before, but here I am, reaching out to ask for a bit of help. It's quite humbling to find myself in this position, as I'm usually the one offering support rather than seeking it. But life has thrown a few unexpected challenges my way, and I need some assistance to navigate through them. My regular trips to medical appointments have added up, and covering these costs, along with everyday bills, has become overwhelming.
Living in Greenup, a place that's always felt like home, has been a comforting presence through this journey. Reaching out to my community and friends is not something I take lightly, but it's a step I must take now. Every bit of support eases the burden and brings me closer to a place of stability. Even though asking for help is difficult, I am hopeful and grateful for any kindness that comes my way.
