I am starting this fundraiser for my mother. Recently, we were evicted from the home we were living in because of unpaid bills and late rent payments. My mother is not originally from the United States, and she has struggled to understand how the financial system works here. She was advised to file for bankruptcy, but since then, our situation has become even more difficult.
We were recently charged over $40,000 for repairs to the home we were staying in, along with unpaid utility bills and rent-related fees. The financial burden has been overwhelming, and the stress of trying to manage everything has been very hard on my mother.
My mother is a hardworking woman whose faith keeps her strong, but our family is facing a difficult situation and needs support. The funds raised will go toward utility bills, late rent payments, housing-related fees, and the repair charges we have been left responsible for.
