Dharma spent the majority of her first year on this earth, being physically beaten by an abusive man who was supposed to love and care for her. Shortly after her first birthday, Dharma was abandoned by that abuser. Due to the trauma that she had experienced, she became aggressive and rehoming her would prove to be nearly impossible. She was being scheduled for euthanasia when I stepped in as her only hope.
Dharma has made incredible progress on her journey, but she still has a significant amount of fear of strangers. Currently, Dharma has to be kept on leash even in her own yard, at all times. Not having a fenced in yard is really limiting her ability to be a happy dog. Dharma deserves a chance to sniff and run free without risk to herself or anyone else. I would like to create a fully fenced in safe haven for her. Thank you for being a part of her journey.
