Meet Phoebe, a beautiful and gentle Golden Retriever who has been a beloved member of Jenny's Family for only one year. Phoebe's loyalty, playful spirit, and endless love have brought joy to Jenny's family, making her a large part of their lives. However, in a quick turn of events Phoebe faces a life-threatening battle with organ failure.
The journey of Phoebe's struggle began when she was diagnosed with a typical case of Kennel Cough. Phoebe was given antibiotics that was thought to have cured the Kennel Cough. However, within the next week she was not getting any better, if anything she was getting worse. She seemed lethargic, and pus was leaking from her nose. She was then brought into the ER to find out she had a severe case of pneumonia. She was then put on more antibiotics to help her heal. Things began to look up as Phoebe was gaining more energy and getting back to her normal self.
A week or so later, Phoebe was thought to be cured and even had a fun sleepover with her Aunt Sadie. This is where things took a turn for the worst. The night after her sleepover, Phoebe began having a vomiting attack and shaking attack that lead her to aspirate. Jenny, rushed Phoebe into the ER, to find out that she would need to be admitted. Today 11/02 Phoebe underwent surgery where they cleansed her organs from the aspiration. During this procedure the unexpected happened. Phoebe began to become sepsis. This has now caused Phoebe's organs to begin failing.
Jenny and Phoebe are facing a tough road ahead fraught with many challenges, but there is nothing she won't do to save the life of her faithful companion. Determined to fight for Phoebe's life, Jenny has began to embark on a journey that will test her strength and resilience.
Jenny is a single mom to Phoebe, and is a very hard worker. However the medical expenses to provide the medicine, and surgeries ahead are overwhelming. There is nothing Jenny wouldn't do for Phoebe.
