Stephanie Lujan is a Lyme Disease warrior. At the age of 25 a multitude of symptoms crept up bringing extreme pain from head to toe from fibromyalgia, arthritis, migraines, and the inability to walk more than a few steps. This required seeking a medical professional literate in Lyme Disease and getting blood work done. The outcome was Lyme Disease with a coinfection babesiosis. This all hit when She was a full time college student and single mother. The years since then have been a roller coaster of good years and months and bad ones yet her spirit stays strong and determined to fight. Her strength to live life to the fullest and be a role model for her kids and other disease survivors has kept her pushing through it
You can help right now because she needs to have a treatment and updated tests ran which aren't financially possible without the help and support of family and friends. The requirements to remain well are to have her Lyme specialist run tests and to take medication for 3-6 months. Which reduce the time to engage in work and that effects bills. There are many treatment options that are to expensive to ever receive so we're focused on the bare minimum to keep going. One of her children is showing some symptoms so she'd love to have him them receive testing as well..
We love Stephanie and her kids so much. She is such a blessing to have in our lives. Everyone who meets her or them adores then. She is an incredible mother, friend, sister.
We can’t cure Stephanie, but we can help ease the financial burden and reduce the stress that the family is facing. Our goal is to raise the entire $10,000 for them, to pay for the Lyme treatment and testing.
