Losing my mom changed everything.
There are days I still wake up and forget for a second… and then it hits me all over again. She was my support system, my encouragement, the person who always reminded me I’d be okay no matter what. And now, I’m trying to figure life out without her.
Not long after losing her, I had to move to a completely different city. New place, new environment, no real sense of stability—just trying to survive and adjust at the same time I’m grieving. It hasn’t been easy.
I’ve been working part-time, doing everything I can to stay afloat, but I’ve struggled to find full-time work. I’ve applied, followed up, stayed persistent—even on the days where it feels discouraging. And there have been a lot of those days.
But I haven’t given up.
Even through the loss, the uncertainty, and the stress, I keep showing up. I keep trying. Because I know my mom would want that for me. She’d want me to keep pushing forward, even when it’s hard.
Right now, I’m just trying to get back on my feet. To find stability again. To build something steady in the middle of everything that’s been shaken.
If you feel led to support, I truly appreciate it more than I can put into words. And even if you can’t give, your prayers and encouragement mean just as much.
I’m still here. I’m still trying. And I’m not giving up.
