The Spark of a Dream: The Blake Edwards Arts Foundation (501c3)
Years ago, a young girl named Blake, who was born with Down Syndrome, came to her mother with a beautiful vision. She wanted to create an Arts Academy specifically designed for others with unique abilities. Blake did not know how to start it; she just knew how important dance and art had been to her, and she wanted others to share in that same joy.
On December 13, 2024, that dream became a reality. Blake's mom activated that whispered prayer by launching the Blake Edwards Arts Foundation. She wanted to make sure that every person living with a disability would be celebrated, regardless of their physical or cognitive journey.
As we enter March, we celebrate National Women's History Month and Down Syndrome Day and women like Blake and her mom. Through them, individuals with unique abilities are celebrated through movement, artistic expression, and promoting good health.
Today, they need your help! Making an impact requires more than just a dream — it requires willing hands and heart. Please consider donating. to their spotfund to support upcoming programs.
