WE are about to have our first trial day of 2026!!
*UPDATE on January 19, 2026*
The last trial days were November 8, February 6 and 7, May 2, August 28, and October 17.
The goal for fundraising here reflects the cost of expert witness, trial prep, and actual trial days. It is imperative that I continue with the excellent legal representation I have.
During the darkest days of this ordeal, I have held on to hope and courage because of your financial support.
When you invest in me, my family, and the challenges I am currently facing, you’re investing in a larger community of positive growth and change.
I am an active and dedicated member of my community. I work full time as an educational aide in my school district’s special education department. I have additional part time jobs, and have just begun classes at my local community college.
As a regular shopper at my town’s food bank, I take joy in volunteering whenever I can. I especially enjoy assisting individuals who need to access services, but face obstacles in doing so. That can mean picking a food box up for someone who doesn’t have transportation, or going with someone who needs emotional support for their meetings.
I have a deep, and active spiritual life that builds connection in my community. I am honored when I am able to sit with, or walk with, people in my community who are suffering. I was recently able to minister to a family who lost a beloved family member to addiction. My life experiences and faith give me the strength and ability to be present in hard times.
Your gifts and support are an investment in more than just this small story of the custody trial. You are empowering me to live in alignment with my values, freeing me to pour out to others in my community and life with intention and purpose. The ones I help are able to impact their own circles of influence, and so on. The ripple effect is infinite. Thank you for helping build a world of mutual support and connection.
