1954: Roger Bannister crushed the 4 minute mile mark, helping others believe in the impossible and release the shackles that the mind creates. This would later be known as the The Bannister Effect - a phenomenon of one person helping others believe in the impossible.
1999: 10 year old me was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and has been insulin dependent for the last 23 years. For those unsure, diabetes is a chronic condition caused by peptides in the body which shut down the pancreas from producing insulin. I've been told my whole life that a cure is impossible.
2014: I met a therapist who specialized in past life regression and helped me discover my deep connection to the mesoamerican Mayan people.
2019: I traveled to Lake Atitlan, San Marcos and met a woman who was able to get her 14 year old daughter off long acting insulin. I was intrigued because I'd never heard of anyone who'd done this. I started building a relationship with her and the indigenous of Guatemala. At the time I felt called but also unready to embark on this experimental journey.
2022: The year I've decided to BE the experiment + document my journey to heal Type 1 Diabetes. This summer, I will take a 3 month sabbatical, travel to Guatemala and work with the indigenous + a team utilizing modalities including GAPS diet, Gerson Therapy, Plant Medison + bioresonance.
I believe healing is a 3 pronged approach: physical, mental + spiritual. Your donation will support this program (i.e. accommodation, food, payment to the indigenous involved + documentation for further research).
